LHVC Hosts an Annual Christmas Party for Underprivileged Children

Since 2005, Lifestyle Holidays Vacation Club are the hosts of an annual Christmas party for underprivileged children in Puerto Plata. Each year the party gets bigger and better, last year’s party, held at center court in the heart of the resort was the largest to date with 800 children. The children in attendance are ages 6 to 13 from all different areas of Puerto Plata, this wonderful event is organized by local journalist Leonardo Medrano, in collaboration with LHVC. The usual program of events is a buffet dinner, cake, presents, Mini disco & appearances by their favorite characters such as Mickey & Minnie Mouse, Dora The Explorer, Woody and Buzz Lightyear, and of course, Santa Claus. Local bands Mashisteria, Jake 1 and Tony Man performed on stage.  The evening ended with an amazing firework display  the children have a wonderful evening (and the adults have a lot of fun too!)
